I have extremely sore heels from standing on concrete at work all day any ideas how to relieve this pain???

The past three weeks have been miserable, I use dr. schol's shoes, with inserts for heels, but my right heel is so sore, it's unbearable to stand on. What is the cause of this, how can I relive the pain without going to a Dr? Any help appreciated.

EITHER TAKE OFF WORK OR GO VISIT THE DOCTOR. SOME THINGS YOU HAVE TO SEE THE DOCTOR FOR. YOUR BODY IS YOUR TEMPLE, TAKE CARE OF IT.
Reply:Try different kinds of shoes: Shoes that are more shock absorbant. Sneakers, if you will.

If you are working in more of a business type of enviornment, you can find plenty of work related shoes at all sorts of shoe stores that are slip-resistant and shock-absorbant. Try also the GEL insoles, not just the padding.

Trust me, I know your pain. Concrete floors at work also, plus hardwood floors at home.
Reply:maybe try not wearing heels for awhile..if possible..wear flatter shoes that wont put all the pressure on ur heels.
Reply:I feel your pain! I am on my feet all day on hard floors as well. My heel pain seems to come and go. At the moment they have not been bothering me for at least a week or so, but when they flare up it goes on for several weeks. OUCH! I've been trying different things as well but to no avail. Wish I knew what to tell you. My next step (pardon the pun) is to go see a podiatrist. Good luck!
Reply:try soaking your feet at night in warm water with epsom salts. and if you get a free day, go for a pedicure, your heels will feel a hundred times better.
Reply:Get different shoes and try looking around at a store that makes insoles for your feet. Also rub your feet or get someone to rub your feet works wonder.
