You must be flat footed! Try walking on your toes! Or better yet as soon as you purchase a new pair of shoes.... take them straight to a shoe repair place and have them place a tap on the bottom where the shoe wears first.

Reply:Ever notice yo umake sound when you walk? It's because you're dragging your feet. Try to make a conscious effort to pick your feet up when you walk, if you do it all the time your heels wont wear out.
Reply:you could take them to a cobbler when they're new and he can put heel guards on them...they'll last longer and not run down.
