Heelies like shoes, but the wheels come out of the heels?

Does anybody know if there is such shoes that the wheels flip out of the heels?!?!





My son wants a pair for his birthday and i cant find the brand name of them or if the even exist

Actually, I remember one of my friends had one of those shoes. The wheels were on the side. They were small wheels that you could just flip in and out and you didnt have to remove them. I dont know the brand, though. My advise is not to get them, cuz both my friend and I couldn't get the wheel flipped back in, and he was limping for a while before it FINALLY went back in. Plus, they look kind of unstable. I would just get Heelys.





Actually, I think maybe Heelys made the other company go out of business or something, cuz that was the only time I ever saw one...

Reply:Yes, there are such shoes. They are called Heelys. You can find them at Big 5 or any other store that sells things like skateboards and scooters. They are really cool shoes; my little brother loves them. They take a while to learn, and to get used to how to ride them. The wheels are a bit difficult to get out, but they make tools to help. Expect to pay much more at the mall...75-80 dollars.


You have to make sure to get Heelys and not the kind that flip out of the sole of the shoe. My 8,9 and 14 year olds tell me they just arent cool if they arent Heelys.





Just a word of caution: these have been listed as a very dangerous toy and some places are passing laws and ordinances banning their use in public places.
