Why do some girls hate heels?

I wear shoes with a heel at least a few times to week to school. Not many girls do it but I actually find them comfortable and match my outfits really well.


Vast majority of people either dont care or have even complimented me when i wear them. But Ive noticed ive gotten some weird looks and such from some certain other girls.





I usually ignore it, but what's their problem? What i wear isnt slutty, its classy and things in style.

i'm way to tall to wear heels. i wish i could.

Reply:Most have big feet with big veins like Sara Jessica Parker the actress from Sex In The City! So they wear high heels or spiked heels and it shows their ugly feet like Paris Hilton has the ugly feet and so does Halle Berry and even stars like Nicole Kidman have ugly feet so they stay with flat shows or high top boots! I heard that Tara Reid has ugly toes so she wears boots or stylish covered shoes with the heel only showing! For years my mother at http://liveuniverse27.blogspot.com told me I had ugly big feet, and now that I am of my own I realize that I have beautiful sturdy feet and my mother was the one with the ugly horrid looking feet looking like they missed a few bones when she was born! So she has ugly feet and I have nice sturdy feet she was only jealous of!
Reply:Maybe they think you're trying too hard or dressing up for no reason. Forget them, if it's comfortable and you like them, keep wearing them. They probably couldn't pull it off anyway. Work what you've got =]

Reply:Some girls hate heels for certain reasons. Some girls feel that they are already too tall for heels. Others simply can't pull off the whole heels look thing. Some girls simply can't walk in them. Plain and simple. You can pull it off, walk in them, and you find them comfortable. Others don't. Just keep ignoring them. They're simply jealous that everything they wish they were able to do with heels, you can do it.
Reply:Since your in school, all the girls are more immature. You might of matured faster and so you like the older, sophisticated look better. I think for girls in high school they tend to all wear the same thing, flats, flip flops...ect...not much wear heels because adults where them to look dressed up. I think when you get out of school, and have an adult job and all then you will fit in more with it. I like heels but im 16 and don't feel the need to dress up yet, i like wearing casual stuff. but when i am older that will probably be the style of shoe i will turn to.
Reply:School is not a place for high heels - especially the shoes that are on the market today. Why do you think private schools have the students wear those clunky ugly oxfords, safety reasons mainly. I wouldn't wear heels to school ever. They are bad on your achilles tendon and also on your feet. I don't care if "they look cute or match your outfits really well", school is not the place for heels.
Reply:My gf wears heels to school a lot and ive even noticed she gets dirty looks from other girls. And I told her about it once and she said she knows and thats one reason she enjoys wearing them...to piss off the other girls and make them jealous.
Reply:The only time I don't like to see people in heels is if it's an open-toe heel. I have a thing about seeing other people's feet in public and that includes sandals or flip flops.

Seriously...they are jealous. It's that simple. Either they cant wear them or they cant pull off the look and they feel threatened.

Reply:its just not normal for someone to be walking around in school with heels. lots of girls think of heels are "not comfortable." so for school, the majority wear flats or sneakers. if u feel comfortable enough to wear them, good for u, u can be fashonable AND comfortable in school.
Reply:It's because they think you are trying to grow up too fast. I got stares also when I wore heels when they were wearing heels also. I also think heels are cute, comfortable and match all my outfits. Some people stare because of the sound they make also. Just ignore them, they are either really cranky and tired, or they are just paranoid.
Reply:it scares me, to high to walk in, uncomfortable, annoying, and i'm just not that type of person. I don't make fun of people that do that's their choice, i give them weird looks because of how they can walk in them i'm not jealouse, i would wear them if i could walk in them

i think the problem is that girls buy heels that are too tall for their proportions.


i wear like 1 inch heels or 1 and a half or...
