Does wearing high heels really make you infertile?

I was reading a magazine yesterday and they were talking about Victoria Beckham and her shoes and how high heels can make you infertile. Something about "excessive forward tilting of the pelvis"


What are the chances of this happening to me?





I refuse to be seen in public without my heels! lol

Does wearing high heels really make you infertile?
I did a bit of research on the old world weird web...and can only find the vague "studies have shown" and "according to some doctors", yet I can find no evidence of any studies in any of the legitimate sources of published medical reports. If there was a study linking fertility and heel height, it wasn't in any of the journals recognized by the AMA or international equivalent and if there was one in the past, perhaps it's since been discredited and removed from scientific and medical literature.





I think Beckham's excessively skinny frame and the measures needed to achieve that level of skeletal-ness would be far more detrimental to fertility, maternal health and the success of carrying a child than wearing heels. When I was in my twenties I wore up to 4 inch stilettos before after and during both my pregnancies and had no trouble.

I thought that girly magazine readers were stupid but now I am convinced that the writers or editors of those magazines were more stupid than their readers.

Reply:Yeah, I'd say it's lies also. Even looking at the example of Victoria beckham - she's got PCOS and never, ever wears flats, and she's managed to give birth to three boys so far. I'd say it's a pack of lies. Keep wearing those heels!
