Ever broke a heel of your shoe in public?
Feel sorry!





It's a horrible thing to happen, and it's usually on a favorite pair of shoes :(
Reply:I recently went to a Walmart store after church one Sunday and broke my heel coming out. I just took my shoes off in the parking lot and walked to my car.
Reply:Yes, it was on a really high-heeled pair of sandals. You have no idea how awkward it is to walk on one high heel. You feel like Long John Silver (with no parrot, lol!)
Reply:This happened to me at the end of a night of clubbing. We were leaving the club and I clipped a step exiting and the heel broke off. They were 3" heels so you cant' really walk in one so I had to take both my shoes off. It felt good to take my shoes off, but it was raining and I ruined my stockings going to the car :-(





And like a previous poster said they were a favourite pair.
Reply:When I was young, I accidentally stepped on my dad's pair of flip-flops and it fell apart. He had to walk around on one flip-flop for an hour.

the sidewalks are notorious for getting your shoes....


between the cracks in the sidewalk and the subway grates..if your heels don't get caught..or scuffed...they can get stuck and snap off...in manhattan you walk fast..and you can't stop and watch every step you take...


it's not funny....not when a person has spent a few hundred dollars for a pair of shoes....


most manhattanites don't wear sneakers....
Reply:No---but this can happen.Like so many things have happened in most areas.Like the ball hits the goal bar and rebound---the ball felldown from the fielders hand----while driving the oil can finish---like you are writing and forgot what to write.Everything can happen.So it happens .Take it easy if it happened any time in ur life.
Reply:Yeah I have and I was on my to an interview AND they were my FAVORITE!! So I was highly upset and had to go to Pay Less of all places to get a new pair.
Reply:that happened to my best friend last friday....nobody noticed it cause it was really crowded(we were in sephora).but she got really upset...it was a brand new 250$ pair of shoes!
