Anyway i could get use to these heels in like 7 hours?

i have a big, semi-formal party to go to tonight. and for the most part, i'm usually not wearing heels [i'm a pretty hardcore cheerleader so i'm usually in the gym for 5 hours a day, so i'm usually not wearing heels]

i have the most adorable shoes that i really want to wear to the party, but the heel is about 2 inches [which for me, will probably do me some good as i'm only about 5ft.] but obviously i'm really not use to wearing heels that high. Is there anyway that in 7 hours i can learn how to walk in these heels without breaking an ankle? haha. if so, any tips or should i just look for shoes with a smaller heel?

Anyway i could get use to these heels in like 7 hours?
Hi

When weraing heels you have to feel the sexiness of the shoes and heels themselves.

You have to wear heels like a lady, due to you wearing trainers all day, your pace will no doughtedly be harsh. with heels you have to walk with a certain stride. here are my pointers

Walk with the posture striaght, but relaxed.

Walk with your first foot first, then balance it with the other when the next stride is due.

Walk with confidence

Walk with sex appeal, but dont over do it.

The key here is feel sexy, look sexy.

If you are walking around to thouse in heels to get used to them, them try also dressing up, looking sexy. put the shoes on last, then look in the mirror like a celebrity would, one foot first. then as youll notice, you will look slender and sexy, youll soon feel good in them

hope this helps.

Another option would be to wear them with underwear. that will make you feel good to, esecially if you have been working out. learn to appreciate your body, heels with then come naturally

Reply:Try wearing them around for a few hours. I had 3 inch and i wore them around the house for 3 hours, and by the time i got to the wedding reciption i danced 4 hours straigh. But if you are truely uncomfortable get new ones, flats are always cute too!
Reply:they are not really high; i mean you can just wear them for a while at home; take them off when you feel bad; they put them again; and you will get use on them; anyway; keep your head straight; and your back also and walk straight steps; that way you will be on control on these heals and you will not break anything; and enjoy your party without thinking about them; also; if you felt tiered during the party; you can have a break in the bathroom; and have a back up shoes in your car.
Reply:Just walk normal. I know the heel will make you feel like you should walk different than you usually do, but that's just a mind game. You are a cheerleader and should be very used to how your body works and stays balanced. Just practice walking how you normally walk and allow the heels to balance you just like your sneakers would - that's how they are made to balance you. Good luck and have an awesome time tonight :)
Reply:Hmmmm...I would be very wary about possibly being uncomfortable all night. I have been there! If I were you, I would try to find another pair that are still cute, but with a kitten heel that you can walk in and be comfortable in. In the meantime, keep your new shoes and break them in gradually and next time there is an occasion to wear them, you will be ready!
Reply:I used to have that trouble, just put them on and start out walking slow and wear them till you can keep your foot steady.
