Try having just certain pants to wear with the open heel shoes. Ones that are not quite as long as your other pants.
How do I keep my pant hem from getting stuck in my shoe when i wear slingbacks or shoes with open heel?
You either wear pants that fit tight around the ankles or skirts/dresses. If that dont work for you and you must wear slacks with the wider leg openings, you can always do what we old dames used to do in the 70s and sew a couple of pennies in the hem of the slacks, making sure that the front of the hem was a bit shorter so that the pennies would automatically fall to the back of the hem. This will make the pant leg hang down and not be too light to get caught up.
Reply:Easy. Stop wearing such ugly shoes and wear boots instead.
Reply:Have a seamstress or a tailor run a very tight "close count stitch per inch" additional stitch around the back seam of the hem and the shoes will not get caught on the lip of the fabric. Works every time! Explain to the tailor what you want it done for!
