Instructions on making a shoe out of paper!?

This is for a project that we are doing in one of my art classes. And we are suppose to design a shoe made out of paper. Any kind of shoe will work: Sandals, Shoes, Flip Flops, Heels.. anything. And this shoe should be able to be made out of: Bristol, Vellum, Cardboard.

Any ideas on helping me out?

Links? Images? Anything =]

I'd appreciate any kind of help offered.

Thanks

There is a 3.56 min video or you can check origami as I have no idea as to the size you are looking for. I believe I saw some ads on the right side of the screen for large size but if that is what you want you may want to check.

Reply:There is a moccasin pattern I have heard about. It uses Newspaper and masking tape, the 2nd Grade Class in Vermillion, SD uses it as a means to better understand the Native Americans and the Explorers like Lewis and Clark who passed through the area over 200 years ago.

Trace their foot and add 3/4 an inch around with pencil. Fold newspaper in half with pattern on top. Cut out and cut 'x' into bottom side infront of the heel and behind the toe flap. Tape around and you may need to fold the X edges over and tape. Lewis and Clark made Moccasins every three days... Also can be used as an old timer Little Girl Slippers.

Now: there is another style, it's a modification of the Roman Style Sandal. Take any thick piece of sole material. Trace foot and make a 3/4 inch border around it. Punch holes on the sides, just the sides. Run shoelaces through the holes and tie to calf.
