Am I too tall to wear high heels I'm 5'7?

I have alot of high heel shoes that i wear to church, but i would like to wear them on a regular basis, but i feel like I'm the tallest one around when i put them on and go somewhere, also alot of people stare. I know i look good, but do you think america is more used to the super casual style? I'm in seattle area, so here people dont really dress up that much, as they would in LA or Miami. Thank you

Reply:I bet people stare because you do look really tall--but the heels can also help you show off your confidence. Being so tall and still wearing heels shows that you're not afraid to stick out! I, personally, adore heels and wear heels daily, so I don't see a think wrong with it. America is stuck in casual dress, but by no means should you follow suit. Wear what you love and live your life!

Reply:If you are confident with your self then JUST DO IT!!!! You are not too tall, tall people are HOTT. I am 5'8" and I wear heels, as long as you strut yourself and look confident people will respect that in you. Who cares if they stare, stare back with a sexy, confident, strong look!

I lived in Spokane, WA for a while...I know it is FAR from Seattle lifestyle (lol).... but I've been to Seattle plenty of times... you will look great!

Wear your heels, stand up and enjoy the view, and the recognition. Set your own style, but do it with a casual attitude instead of a casual appearance.

I'm short, but all my friends are about 5'7" and are terrified to wear heels, but I love when a tall person isn't afraid to wear heels, maybe I'm just jealous of the height!

Reply:People don't really care about how tall you are. My sister is your height and 13, and doesn't like wearing heels, because she thinks she's too tall. But i don't really see anything wrong about it. And if you think you look good, then you stand out. People probably stare at you because they probably wish they were your height. I think tall is Beautful. So go ahead and wear those heels, and don't worry about what anybody thinks about you. You're special and beautiful in God's sight. Wear what you want. And remember tall is Beautiful!
Reply:I wouldnt worry about it really...Im 5'6 and have worn heels since I was 17....its a question of style, namely yours!...if you feel comfortable then wear them!...as far as staring goes....its part of why we wear them...LOL....

I live in Seattle too and i wear heels almost every day with jeans and a hoodie to a fancy dress even if I'm just going to class and then hanging at Pike Place! it is fun to dress up and look nice, I am significantly shorter than you are but I think that people might not be stearing at your height alone! if you know you look good, others most likey do too, and thats why they are staring! I'm personally envious of tall women so use what you've got and dont be afraid to add to it!
Reply:I'm also 5'7 and I wear heels all the time. My closet is full of stylish heels and when I wear them, I make sure I stand up straight and walk with a lot of confidence. It makes a difference in how you look. If you are not confident in heels and feel tall and gangly, then that's how you will look. I used to not like being tall when I was in high school, but now I love it. I can wear alot of stylish clothes that don't look good on short women. Get you a pair of skinny-leg jeans, a cute tunic and some awesome heels and strut your stuff, honey!
Reply:I'm 5'7 also-and I always wear 2" heels, it's a very sexy look-I love my height, men find it very attractive and you will definitely stand out in the crowd-I always get notice-try it you will see what i mean, especially if you are cute too.
