Blisters on my heels?

I have just walked a 1/2 marathon and have been training for it for a few months - i have huge blisters on the inside of right heel - the shoes are hardly worn. Is there anything I can do other than bandaids or second skin. I don't want to turf the shoes is there something I can put in the shoe to stop the rubbing. I wear the double layer sock as well.

Blisters on my heels?
Mole skin works wonders. Try adjusting the shoes so that friction between the shoe and heal is minimized, which should help alleviate the blisters. Try consulting a doctor or a credible sight if you have further questions.
Reply:Moleskin on the blisters until the shoe is worn in.

I used it at bootcamp on the areas of my foot that usually experience the most rubbing or friction and was the only person who didn't get blisters.
Reply:I have the heel blister problem too. Just got back from CVS and got "Mole skin", in college, playing basketball, my coach would get mole skin. All you have to do is cut out a section of the mole skin, cut a hole in it the size of your blister, then it goes over the blister. I should prevent any contact with the blister itself. Sometimes, it took more than one layer, depending on the size of the blister. Hope it helps!!
Reply:An xray from an orthopedic and his/her recommendation(s) are the best solution. You should get a solution to your problem quickly.
Reply:sorry cant help ya
