I wear high heel shoes to work all the time. I also sit in a chair and type all day long EVERYDAY. I have been having pain in my arms legs and lower back and my neck. I am worried sick there is something seriously wrong with me. I am also very stressed and a high strung person. Could all of this be causing my muscle aches and my back aches and shooting pain through my arms, back and legs?? Please HELP!

Will wearing high heels cause back and leg pain?
Well I wear sneakers to work and i get back pains or neck pains and such once in a while. It might have more to do with your overall posture when you are sitting. Stress is also a factor because when you are stressed the muscles dont relax very well and are easier to pull or tear especially in the lower back.

Im not saying your high heel shoes arnt the issue. But if you are usually sitting down, I doubt that's the issue.

I would speak with a chropractor if this is a constant problem. They can evaluate what you might be doing wrong.
Reply:High heels are pumps with heels of more than two inches, according to the American Podiatric Medical Association, who has determined them to be “biomechanically and orthopedically unsound.” Aside from damaging a woman’s posture and increasing her risk of injury from falling, these shoes actually damage the feet and may result in a lifetime of foot ailments.
Reply:I wear 5" heels everyday and don't have any back pain
