Which looks better on bridesmaids...high heels or flat shoes?

I have a friend getting married. She asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. Right now she trying to decide if the bridesmaids should wear high heels, flats, or sandals? It will be a church wedding.

Which looks better on bridesmaids...high heels or flat shoes?
Hi my beautiful friend, Glad to have you back, I miss you very much. I think high heels would go better in a church wedding. Don't you think so? Luv ya, david
Reply:My first thought would be heels. I wear heels every day of the week. I am now to the point that flats are uncomfortable as hell for me to wear! Why not ask each bridesmaid what they would prefer. As long as the shoes are the same texture and color they will be fine. Many places that dye shoes have a variety of flats, heels and dressy sandals that can all be dyed to match the dress.
Reply:Flats!

I am a bride and my girls will not wear heels. I want them comfortable, so they'll be wearing flats.
Reply:I left this up to my bridesmaids. All I wanted them to wear was a white pump - so they chose style and heel height to what suited them.
Reply:You my dear would look fantastic with high heels and being that it is in Church also more appropriate.
Reply:It all depends on the dress. If the dresses are short, then I would say heels. But, if the dresses are floor length, then let them wear whatever they want.

When my sister got married last year, our dresses were floor length. Her only request was that she wanted our shoes to be gold. Other then that, she didn't care. I ended up getting a gold sandals that had just a really small wedge.
Reply:i think flats for bridesmaids are fine, even for the church. . The attention won't be the on bridesmaids as much as it will be on you. i think sandals may be alittle too casual, even the dressy kind, i wouldn't go with sandals.
Reply:A small strappy heel. A cross between a heel and a sandal - you know a sandal with a small heel (kitten heel).
Reply:If it is going to be in a church I would say heels, if it were going to be an outdoor wedding I would say flats or sandles.
Reply:If you get high heels, don't make them too high. My sis picked out some 4" heels for us, I am already 5'8" and I was towering over the best man at her wedding. Plus, it was uncomfortable. Go with a kitten heel, if you can.
Reply:My dear that is actually up to her in the end, you can suggest but do it with caution that way if things don't go right you don't get the blame for the idea, put it to her this way "what would you want?"
Reply:High heels for sure.
Reply:Something that is not only pretty but comfortable. I would not want my bridesmaids to be in uncomfortable high heels all day and than end taking them off and walk barefoot.

I would look for something that is stylish and and comfortable. They are out there.
Reply:I also have a friend getting married and she letting us pick our own dresses and our own shoes in the colors she picked out, that way we wont all hate the dresses and im thinking i might wear some chuck taylors shoes
Reply:wear high heels
